REDCap is Here
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture), a secure web-based application that supports data capture and management for research studies, is now available. REDCap lets users to quickly and intuitively build and manage research data and surveys at no cost to the research project. REDCap is one of the new tools available for research projects through the Penn State CTSI.
No prior database experience is needed to begin using the software. Built-in, online support resources encourage users to learn independently.
To get started using REDCap, contact redcap@hmc.psu.edu. A systems analyst from the Research Informatics and Computing team will meet with investigators and research teams to introduce the REDCap application and the processes involved in obtaining access and requirements needed to safely and securely collect their data.
