Team Science Consultation Board

The Team Science Consultation Board provides expertise to further the mission of team science in the clinical and translational sciences.

Members:
Aparna Joshi, Ph.D.
Dr. Joshi, Professor of Management at Penn State, has focused her research on multilevel issues in workplace diversity, gender issues in science an engineering, collaboration in global and distributed teams, generational issues in the workplace, and international and cross-cultural management. Her work in the area of gender dynamics in engineering work groups was recently awarded a National Science Foundation grant.

Vernon Chinchilli, Ph.D. 
Dr. Chinchilli, Distinguished Professor of Public Health Sciences at Penn State, has an extensive track record of directing National Institutes of Health (NIH) data coordinating centers for multi-center clinical trials and observational studies and projects that involve groups of investigators at multiple institutions.

Harriet Nembhard, Ph.D.
Dr. Nembhard, Professor of Industrial Engineering and Director, Center for Integrated Healthcare Delivery at Penn State, has expertise in collaborating with industry in the context of National Science Foundation (NSF) funded research.

Christopher Sciamanna, M.D., M.P.H. 
Dr. Sciamanna, Professor of Medicine and Public Health Sciences, Chief, Division of General Internal Medicine at Penn State, has led numerous community-based projects aimed primarily at improving the management of overweight and obesity.
