Discussion to share lessons in Community-Engaged Research

Join Penn State’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) on Tuesday, December 13 for its monthly Bench to Bedside and Beyond (B3) Lecture titled “Research in the Real World: Lessons in Community Engagement” beginning at noon.

Participants will hear about the experiences from a panel of investigators who are actively engaging communities and stakeholders throughout the research process.

Panelists will include; Cheryl Blaha, Penn State Heart and Vascular Institute, Erica Francis, M.S., Penn State PRO Wellness, Nasrollah Ghahramani, M.D., Penn State College of Medicine, and Scherezade Mama, DrPH, Penn State College of Health and Human Development, along with member of their team and community partners.

The event will take place at the College of Medicine in Junker Auditorium and University Park in 116 Henderson.

The Bench to Bedside and Beyond (B3) Lecture is a series of educational discussions covering a variety of topics on the translational science spectrum. The goal of the series is to provide participants with the information and tolls necessary to play a vital role in accelerating discoveries that benefit human health.
