The Harrell Health Sciences Library: Research and Learning Commons is hosting two days of hands-on workshops being delivered by trainers from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at NIH. Each session uses specific examples to highlight important features of the resources and tools under study and to demonstrate how to accomplish common tasks.* The workshops will be similar in format to current offerings at NIH.
The exact topics and line up are under development but likely topics include
- Navigating NCBI Molecular Data
- A Practical Guide to NCBI BLAST
- NCBI Human Variation and Medical Genetics Resources
- Gene Expression Information at the NCBI
This FREE workshop series is open to all faculty, students and staff. Please bring a laptop to follow along.
