June 13, 2017

Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute is recruiting new scholars for the KL2 Program. Intended for junior faculty conducting clinical and translational research, the program provides a supportive interdisciplinary training environment for up to four scholars.

The KL2 Program provides junior faculty with diverse research interests and backgrounds an opportunity to network with other health researchers from multiple disciplines while acquiring the skills and experience needed to become successful, independent clinical and translational scientists.  Scholars are exposed to various coursework, mentored research and career development programs.

The KL2 Program provides funding to cover 75% salary support, $22,000 a year for research related costs and tuition support for a 2-3 year period.

Program admission is based on a competitive application process. A letter of intent is due July 15 and the full application deadline is September 1. Accepted scholars will receive support beginning January 2018. For more information visit: http://ctsi.psu.edu/education-workforce-development/kl2-program/
