Tips to engage special populations in the research process on Dec 15

Join Penn State’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) on Thursday, December 15 for its monthly Translational Topics @ 12 webinar titled “Engaging Special Populations in the Research Process.”

A panel moderated by the CTSI Community-Engaged Research Core co-director, Cynthia Chuang, M.D., will include Keith Aronson, Ph.D., associate director, Penn State Clearinghouse for Military Readiness and Janice Penrod, Ph.D., co-director, Penn State Research Nurse Initiative.

Participants will learn about unique populations including the military and rural populations, as well as, tips to engage these populations in research meaningful to them and resources available at Penn State.

Translational Topics @ 12 can be viewed from the convenience of your office, on the go or join your colleagues at the College of Medicine, C1742K or at University Park in 116 Henderson to view as a group.

Translational Topics @ 12, part of the Bench to Bedside and Beyond (B3) Seminar Series, is a monthly program designed to provide deeper insight into a specific translational topic which includes practical application.
