Amplifying Lion Voices Expand answer

CHEER Seminars Expand answer

The Community Health Equity & Engagement in Research (CHEER) program promotes community-engaged research (CEnR) across Penn State, spanning many disciplines, with the overall goal of enhancing wellness and reducing health disparities. It serves as the landing place for faculty who seek to engage communities in their research and for community organizations and members to engage with Penn State expertise. CHEER at Penn State is supported, in part, by funding from Penn State’s Social Science Research Institute (SSRI).

Implementation Science Seminar Series Expand answer

Connecting evidence and practice to improve health equity, the Implementation Science Core (ISC) supports implementation science projects within the Penn State community. Implementation science is the connecting bridge that brings evidence-based interventions into the real-world setting. The ISC strives to increase the adoption, integration, and sustainability of evidence-based practices into real-world resource-constrained settings to improve health equity.
